passing controls

normal pass: press cross (a on xbox) to make a pass.

long distance: hold cross (a on xbox) to target a recipient further away.

feint pass: triangle + circle (y + b on xbox) (when you are stopped or when you attack the basket)

pass in suspension: square + cross (x + a on xbox) (when you are stopped or when you attack the basket)

pass icon: press r1 (rb on xbox) and then the action key corresponding to the receiver of your choice. use the left joystick to move the receiver in the desired direction.

spectacular pass: press circle twice (b on xbox) to make a pass.

alley-oop: quickly press triangle (y on xbox) twice to switch. left joystick to select the recipient.

alley-oop to yourself: quickly press triangle twice (y on xbox) + point the left joystick at the basket.

make a pass to the basket: hold triangle (y on xbox) so that the selected recipient cuts to the basket. release triangle to make the pass.

chained pass: press cross (a on xbox) before the original recipient receives the ball. use the left stick to select the second recipient.

go and go: hold cross (a on xbox) until the recipient receives the ball. still holding cross, use the left joystick to move the smuggler, then release cross to retrieve the ball.


dribbling controls

sprint: hold r2 (rt on xbox) and move the left stick in any direction.

custom sizeup combo: when you are stationary or moving, point the right joystick up, then release quickly.

indoor / outdoor: r2 (rt on xbox) + right joystick up, then release quickly.

crossover: move the right analog stick to the left, then release it quickly when you dribble with your right hand

crossover between legs: hold r2 (rt on xbox) and move the analog joystick to the left, then release it quickly.

dribble in the back: move the right analog stick down, then release quickly.

stepback: hold the trigger right and move the right analog stick down, then release it quickly.

inverted dribble: turn the right analog stick clockwise, then release it quickly.

stop: quickly press l2 (lt on xbox) during a penetration to make a gear change to stand out from your defender. this can also allow you to take speed to finish quietly under the basket.

defeat defenders: hold l2 to put your body in opposition when you dribble. prevent the defenders who follow you from circumventing you, in order to go more easily to the basket.

1st step triple threat or step over: push the right analog stick to the right or left, then release it quickly.

firing feet triple threat: move the right analog stick down, then release it quickly.


shooting controls

suspended fire: move and hold the right analog stick, then release it or hold square (x on xbox), then release.

shot on board: move and hold the right analog stick up, then release.

free throw: move and hold the right analog stick, then release or hold square (x on xbox), then release.

normal double-step: move and hold the right analog stick while attacking the basket.

runner / tear drop: move and hold the right analog stick down when you get near the racket.

double step reversed: move and hold the right joystick to the right as you walk along the bottom line to the right of the basket. and conversely on the left.

dunk with two hands: r2 + hold the right joystick up (attacking the basket).

dunk hand weak or dominant: r2 + hold the right joystick to the left or right. the direction of the joystick determines the dunk's hand.

spectacular dunk: r2 + hold the right joystick down (attacking the basket).

firing feel: quickly press square (x on xbox) or steer ert quickly release the right joystick.

jump preparation: press square (x on xbox) while dribbling with the left analog joystick. the direction of the joystick determines the direction of the shot.

shooting after reverse dribbling: hold r2 (rt on xbox) + press square twice.


post shooting controls

entering and exiting the station: hold l2 (lt on xbox) to position yourself at the station. release the trigger to return to the basket.

rotate to station: hold l2 (lt on xbox) to position yourself at the station. ball in hand, quickly orient the left joystick in any direction, then release.

raquet penetration: hold l2 (lt on xbox) to switch to the station. hold r2 (rt on xbox) + the left joystick towards the racket then quickly release l2.

reverse dribble or penetration: hold l2 (lt on xbox) to move to the station + circular motion with the right joystick toward one of the player's shoulders.

step back right: hold l2 (lt on xbox) to position yourself at the station. hold r2 (rt on xbox) + the right joystick down, then release quickly.

arm rolled at station: hold l2 (lt on xbox) to position yourself at the station. with the left joystick in the neutral position, keep the right one at the top left or at the top right.

fadeaway at the station: hold l2 (lt on xbox) to position yourself at the station. hold the right joystick to the left or right, in the opposite direction to the basket.

hop step at the station: hold l2 (lt on xbox) to position yourself at the station. orient and hold the left joystick left, right or down, then quickly press square (x on xbox).
